Snow storms continue to spread across Northern Europe

Dec 9, 2014  Stockholm: Snow Software, the leading dedicated developer of Software Asset Management (SAM) platforms for end user organizations and SAM service providers, today announced the opening of two new offices in Paris, France and Diegem, Belgium.

The expansion is part of Snow’s continued global growth that has seen revenue increase by more than 60 per cent year on year for the last five years running.

The French and Belgian operations will come under the responsibility of Angus Cameron, who has been with Snow since establishing the company’s Netherlands office in 2010. Cameron explained the reasons for expanding beyond the Haarlem base: “At Snow, we very much believe that the only way to really establish and build a happy customer base is to invest in having the right people located in the local markets. Opening two new offices is a clear sign of our commitment to working with organizations in France and Belgium, understanding their unique requirements and providing them with local expertise and support.”

France, in particular, has a history of investment in IT inventory that makes it quite different to many other Software Asset Management markets. Cameron continued: “Most sizeable organizations in France already have mature practices and technologies to monitor their IT asset inventories – so the challenge for a SAM vendor is to fit in with these established solutions. This is already proving to be a real opportunity for Snow, thanks to our ability to integrate quickly and seamlessly with a growing number of third-party inventory solutions.”

Snow brings to France and Belgium a comprehensive portfolio of Software License Optimization & Entitlement (SLOE) solutions designed to help organizations manage all their key software investments, from Microsoft and Adobe on the desktop through to IBM, Oracle and SAP in the datacenter.

Snow Software CEO, Axel Kling, commented on Snow’s continued growth: “We are very pleased to welcome our new colleagues in France and Belgium to the Snow family. Our global expansion plan remains aggressive and on track and I look forward to announcing more new offices in the coming months.  The message to our present and future customers is very clear – wherever you are, we will be there to offer you both local support and SAM expertise.”

Snow Software recently exceeded 210 employees across its global operations and now operates 14 regional offices and three development centers.
