Snow appoints Chief Marketing Officer

Stockholm, Sweden. May 14, 2018. Snow Software (Snow), the global leader in Software Asset Management (SAM) and Cloud Spend Management solutions today announced the appointment of Sanjay Castelino to its executive leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer.

Reporting to Axel Kling, CEO, Castelino will be working in close coordination with Snow’s senior management team to define go-to-market strategies and take its leading solutions to new markets and drive continued growth.

Based in Austin, Texas, Castelino will lead the global marketing function including customer and partner marketing, marketing communications, demand generation, digital marketing, field marketing, marketing operations and business development.

Announcing this appointment Axel Kling said, “This is a pivotal appointment for Snow’s growth and Sanjay’s strategic vision and global experience will add strength to the team. The customer experience is changing and his leadership and creativity will ensure we drive innovative solutions and propositions to the market.”

Castelino joins Snow from Spiceworks, the professional network for the IT industry, where he was Vice President Marketing and Revenue Operations. Prior to which he spent five years at SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, as General Manager for their networking and security business as well as holding the position of Vice President Product Marketing and Product Management, refining its go-to-market strategy and positioning following its IPO.

Castelino holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Cornell University.
