President & Chief Executive Officer


Vishal Rao is the President & CEO of Snow Software. A veteran enterprise technology leader with a successful track-record of driving company growth, Rao joined Snow in 2016 as a member of the Board of Directors. He took on an operational role as President & COO of Snow in 2018 and was appointed to President & CEO in 2019. Under his guidance, the company crossed the $100 million revenue mark and launched its expanded vision to further accelerate growth. Prior to Snow, he was the SVP of Field Operations at Cloudera (NYSE: CLDR) and the VP of Worldwide Field Sales at Splunk (NASDAQ: SPLK), both of which realized material revenue milestones and successful IPOs during his tenure. Rao has also held senior sales and leadership positions at BMC and IBM. He earned a B.B.A. in International Business & Marketing from Richmond, The American International University in London, and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.



James Denena is the Chief Financial Officer at Snow. As CFO, Denena oversees the global finance, accounting, tax, and treasury operations of the company. Prior to joining Snow, Denena was the VP of Finance & Corporate Development for PROS (NYSE: PRO), an AI-based cloud software company with customers in more than 55 countries. He also served more than a decade at Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) in various senior finance, business development, and M&A roles. During his career, Denena has led multiple equity capital raises and completed more than 20 M&A and capital formation transactions. He holds a B.B.A in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A from the University of California, Berkeley. James currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.



Rachel Mooney is the Chief People & Culture Officer at Snow. She is responsible for global HR strategy and operations, enhancing and aligning employee experience across the organization, and enabling Snow to attract, retain and develop top talent. Mooney joined Snow from Vodafone (NASDAQ: VOD), where she led strategic and operational HR for group corporate functions and global shared services, driving enhanced productivity and effectiveness across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Technology. Previously, Mooney led organizational culture for Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) across EMEA as well as the company’s human resources function in Ireland, with a relentless focus on accelerated growth and innovation. She earned an M.B.A. from The Open University, a B.A. from University College Dublin and currently resides in London.



Ken Schock is the Chief Revenue Officer at Snow, where he’s responsible for overseeing all revenue functions including Sales, Presales, Partner Programs, Sales Operation and Enablement, and Renewals. Prior to joining Snow, he served as VP of Sales for North America Strategic and Public Sector at Cloudera (NYSE: CLDR), where he was responsible for helping the organization achieve significant revenue milestones. He is an accomplished, thirty-year sales veteran having held key sales leadership positions at global technology companies such as HP (NYSE: HPQ), BMC (NASDAQ: BMCH), VMware (NYSE: VMW) and Splunk (NASDAQ: SPLK). Schock holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from California State University-Chico and resides in the San Francisco Bay area.



Sanjay Castelino is the Chief Product Officer at Snow, where he’s responsible for overseeing Snow’s complete product lifecycle from strategy and development through launch and continued innovation. He is a B2B product, marketing and operations leader with more than 20 years of experience, growing businesses from early stage startups to public companies. Prior to his role as CPO, Castelino served as Snow’s Chief Marketing Officer where he led all marketing functions and helped define the company’s product strategy. Before joining Snow, Castelino was the VP of Marketing and Revenue Operations at Spiceworks and VP of Product Marketing and Management at SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI), among other positions including marketing and product leadership roles at NetStreams and Motive (acquired by Alcatel-Lucent). He holds a B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a M.B.A. from Cornell University. Castelino is based in Austin, Texas.



Paula Darvell is the Chief Marketing Officer at Snow, where she is responsible for overseeing worldwide marketing efforts, with an emphasis on customer-centric growth. She is an enterprise technology veteran with more than 30 years of marketing experience. Prior to joining Snow, Darvell served as the Vice President of EMEA Marketing for Apptio, where she led demand generation, category creation and new market expansion initiatives, along with building customer and partner engagement across the region. She has also held various marketing leadership roles at IBM (NYSE: IBM), FileNet (acquired by IBM) and Unisys (NYSE: UIS). Darvell has a B.A. Joint Honors in English & American Studies from the University of Nottingham and a Diploma of Marketing from City of London Polytechnic and currently resides in London.



Richard Anderson is the Chief Customer Officer at Snow. In this role, he is the global champion for the company’s customers, ensuring that their voice and needs are ingrained within every part of the business. Prior to his promotion to CCO, Anderson was Vice President of Worldwide Customer Success, overseeing the global Customer Success, Customer Support and Professional Services teams. A veteran customer success executive, he has served in key leadership roles at Coupa Software (NASDAQ: COUP), Atex (NASDAQ: ATEX), Bazaarvoice, SDL International (LON: SDL), NetSuite (acquired by Oracle) and RightNow Technologies (acquired by Oracle) over the last 20+ years. Anderson passionately believes in customer-centricity as a foundational element of successful businesses, and drives real value through coordinated execution across sales, delivery, support and adoption. He currently resides in Hampshire, England with his wife and two children. When not spending time at work or with his family, he be found enjoying landscape or wildlife photography and has been known to perform the odd charity cycle ride for the Princes’ Trust & Multiple Sclerosis charities.



Alastair Pooley is the Chief Information Officer at Snow, where he is responsible for global IT strategy and implementation. Before joining Snow, Alastair served as a Global VP of Infrastructure & Cloud Services at Sophos (LSE: SOPH) where he was instrumental in the development of Sophos Cloud and delivered services to 3000 employees and 100 million endpoint users. Prior to this, Pooley spent more than 15 years working with Star Technology (acquired by Claranet) and MessageLabs (acquired by Symantec). He has presented at national and international conferences and maintains currency in industry-leading technical/security qualifications including AWS, Linux Professional Institute and ISC(2). He gained a BSc in Physics from the University of Warwick and was awarded an MBA from Cranfield University. Alastair currently resides in the London area.



Kirk Larson is the General Counsel and SVP of Corporate Development for Snow. He is an international executive with significant experience in M&A, commercial transactions, financing, securities offerings, data privacy, and corporate governance. Prior to Snow, Larson served as general counsel for Upland Software (NASDAQ: UPLD), and in-house counsel roles at WP Engine, Bazaarvoice and CSC (Now DXC Technology – NYSE: DXC). He holds a B.B.A. from Texas State University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston. Kirk is based in Austin, TX.



Jay Litkey serves as the Executive Vice President of Cloud Management at Snow where he is responsible for creating, driving and executing Snow’s Cloud Management strategy across the global organization. He is a successful entrepreneur with over 20 years of executive leadership within cloud, virtualization, autonomic computing, systems management and Internet software companies. Jay was previously Founder and President of Embotics, the hybrid cloud management leader, which was acquired by Snow in December 2019. Prior to Embotics, he was the founding CEO of Symbium (acquired in March 2006), an enterprise solution company focused on managing, automating and securing IT infrastructure and virtualization environments. Jay was also founding CEO of (a forerunner to YouTube) after starting his career at Nortel as a software designer. He is also a minor hockey coach, yoga practitioner and golf hack. Jay is based in Ottawa, Canada.
