Snow Software appoints Group Vice President to drive global operations and growth

28 July, 2016 – Snow Software announces today the appointment of Joe Francis, Group Vice President, to a global role to drive revenue, global efficiencies, sales effectiveness and support aggressive growth targets.

Organizations globally are seeking to optimize software spend and minimize the impact of software audits. They are investing on average a third of their IT spend in the rapidly changing world of software, with increasingly complex licensing scenarios. Francis’ focus on operational efficiency will play a key role in Snow Software maximizing the opportunity to support these organizations.

With a focus on alignment of marketing campaigns and systems, sales enablement and sales process, Francis’ appointment supports Snow’s high growth rate on a global scale. Through a re-focus on resource and processes, Francis will drive a consistent offering for Snow partners, customers, prospects, and internally at Snow.

Francis joins Snow from Qlik, where he was VP Global Operations & Strategy Management. Prior to this, he was Regional Sales Director UK and Ireland of StreamServe UK, and Finance Director of Inktomi and prior to that with PwC

Axel Kling, CEO at Snow Software comments: “Coming from an organization not dissimilar to Snow in its rapid growth and market domination, I am sure that Joe will bring with him a wealth of valuable experience and knowledge as we continue to expand our global operations.”

Francis is an active contributor to a number of charities, including WeSeeHope and Medair.
