Snow & Crayon MEA to partner at GITEX 2015

Dubai, United Arab Emirates July 30th, 2015: Snow Software and Crayon Middle East today announced that they will join forces at the GITEX Technology Week in 2015, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 18th to 22nd October.

Staff from both Snow and Crayon will showcase how Software Asset Management (SAM) can help organizations in the Middle East and APAC regions create tangible cost and risk savings by optimizing their software licensing.

Joachim Hagström, Crayon MEA CEO, commented, “We are delighted to be part of GITEX Technology Week for the 2nd consecutive year and this time with our partners Snow Software, which we believe that their offering strongly complements our global expertise in Software Asset Management. We will together introduce the leading SAM platforms and tools and licensing knowledge that help organizations optimize their IT estate investment”.

Snow Software’s comprehensive SAM platform incorporates all computing platforms from the desktop estate through to complex Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and SAP datacenter environments, as well as tracking the use of applications hosted in the cloud. Extending these optimization capabilities to mobile devices represents a natural evolution of the Snow strengths as well as creating new development opportunities for complimentary solutions.

Andreas Stjernström, Regional Business Manager for Snow Software in the Middle East, added: “We see GITEX and the partnership with Crayon MEA as a perfect opportunity to meet with organizations and influencers in the Gulf region and beyond. Our goal is to stop organizations from paying too much for the software they consume, something that should be top of mind no matter what your industry or location.  Organizations in the Middle East have a lot to gain by being more diligent about how they purchase and use software.”

Crayon MEA and Snow Software will have their SAM experts on-hand at Stand # C7 – 30 in Hall 7, where visitors will be able to see and discuss the full range of Software Asset Management technologies and services.
